Position Summary:
The Sr Analyst for Contract Operations is essential in helping Contract Operations evolve from manual, task-oriented workflows to a digitally enabled, data-driven function, unlocking capacity, improve contract cycle times, increasing visibility into risk, and enable better decision-making across the business. This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for designing, developing, and deploying digital tools, AI capabilities, and data-driven insights that modernize and optimize our Contract Operations function. This position will play a critical part in reducing manual workload, improving contract lifecycle visibility, enhancing data quality, and building predictive analytics that identify risks and performance trends across our contract portfolio. This role partners closely with Contract Operations, Senior Leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver automation, analytics, and innovative digital capabilities that support our broader transformation agenda.
Location: This position will be a remote or hybrid role, depending on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey, or Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build digital tools and automation that eliminate manual tasks in Contract Operations.
• Create dashboards and advanced visualizations to improve contract visibility, performance, compliance and reporting
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and digital redesign.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and drive adoption.
• Manage data pipelines and ensure high-quality contract data for analytics and reporting.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend digital innovation opportunities.
• Drive EDI 845 implementation to closure with distributors, maintains transmission performance and assures transmission transparency
• Improve customer account groupings to align with health systems ship-to facility locations
• Develop key data-intensive reports for department targeted initiatives
• Develop predictive analytics models to forecast contract risks, delays, and performance trends.
• Interface with Leadership on contract predictive risks
• Assist in the Identification of and lead implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution
• Conduct industry benchmarking to enable evolution of Contract Operation best practices into the future
Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Engineering or similar; Preferred: Master’s Degree in above areas or similar
• 5+ years demonstratable success creating and implementing digital solutions, process automation to drive corporate efficiencies, data consolidation and analytics.
• Strong working knowledge in creating implementing solutions utilizing AI tools, cloud AI, Power BI and KPI dashboards
• Experience developing &/or implementing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software a plus
Preferred Skills:
Technical:
• Python or R (for analytics/ML)
• SQL (intermediate–advanced)
• Power BI or Tableau (dashboarding)
• Power Platform or automation frameworks
• Experience with Azure AI or similar cloud AI tools
• Understanding of APIs & systems integration
Analytical & Functional :
• Strong process-mapping capability (Lean Six Sigma a plus)
• Ability to translate operations pain points into digital solutions
• Ability to design and interpret predictive models for business users
• Strong data storytelling: dashboards, insights, themes, recommendations
Soft Skills:
• Strong stakeholder management
• Ability to run discovery workshops and define business requirements
• Comfort driving change and adoption among non-technical users
• Great communication: simplifying data/AI concepts for business teams #LI-SF1
The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000.00 to $100,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
