Discovery Team
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Discovery team, you will design, build, and operate the next generation of AI‑driven, scalable, high‑performance systems that process large volumes of data. You’ll work on secure, cloud‑native solutions that support high‑stakes legal workflows and operate at significant scale.

Job Description and Requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud‑native or distributed systems
- Strong understanding of cloud‑native development and modern distributed architectures
- Proven ability to deliver complex solutions and own them end to end in production environments
- Ability to raise engineering quality through design discussions, code reviews, and technical mentorship
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, observability, and incident response
- Strong cross‑functional communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Experience building full‑stack systems at scale
- Familiarity with performance tuning and scalability trade‑offs
- Experience working in high‑scale or regulated environments
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code

Compensation and Benefits

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
$126,000 and $190,000The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
