As a core member of the Data Strategy and Insights Team, the Director of Data Strategy reports directly to the VP of Data Strategy & Insights

Why This Role Matters

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and business transformation. The Director of Data Strategy will be a key driver in shifting the organization to be truly data-driven — influencing how decisions are made, how resources are allocated, and how data and AI capabilities are built and leveraged across the enterprise. If you thrive at the intersection of vision and execution, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

About The Role

  • Lead the ongoing evolution and execution of the enterprise Data & Analytics strategy, refreshing and refining it throughout the year in alignment with business priorities.

  • Own and drive D&A roadmaps spanning data architecture, responsible AI and data use, data and AI marketplace, enterprise analytics, data management, and shared services.

  • Convert roadmaps into tangible OKRs,  build stakeholder relationships to gain consensus to investments.  Manage business cases end-to-end, to ensure executions harnesses the latest technology developments

  • Lead on executive level presentations for Board to gain buy-in and support uplifting Board education on the data agenda.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders across business units and enterprise functions to ensure alignment and momentum across all initiatives.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that builds data and analytics literacy and capability across the organization.

  • Horizon scanning to ensure the Board and other senior stakeholders are aware of all data developments and ensure clarity of message as to TR opportunities from developments on a real time basis

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations, or equivalent experience; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience with a strong focus on large-scale program management, transformation, and/or delivery within data and analytics environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in data, artifical intelligence and analytics strategy.

  • Prior experience working in large, geographically dispersed, matrixed organizations.

  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of AI, cloud database design, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.

  • Prior experience in information technology; background in cybersecurity is a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite; experience with data visualization and BI tools is a plus.

  • Proven track record of driving large-scale change across a global organization.
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, concise messages for executive and non-technical audiences alike.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a consistent end-user focus.

  • Ability to prioritize, self-initiate, and create momentum — even with partial information or ambiguous direction.

  • A collaborative, inclusive leadership style that inspires teams and builds high-performing cultures.
