The Data Platform team in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for engineering cloud based, AI enabled data platform systems.

You will design and implement data and AI processing applications and frameworks on cloud based infrastructure, ensuring high standards of efficiency, scalability, reliability, and AI readiness across our platforms. In this opportunity as a Software Engineer, you will: About the Role: -
- Design and develop scalable data processing applications and frameworks on cloud infrastructure, collaborating closely with Data Analysts and Architects under the guidance of a Lead Software Engineer.
- Utilize AI‑powered tools to accelerate solution development and improve efficiency across the end‑to‑end project lifecycle.
- Build AI‑enabled solutions that support seamless data ingestion, consumption, and insight generation for business users.
- Drive innovation by proposing new approaches to address data management needs, including recommendations on platform adoption, technology integrations, application servers, libraries, AWS frameworks, documentation, and stakeholder usability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality, maintainability, and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
- Communicate effectively and partner with data platform and data management teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in cloud computing, data platforms, and AI engineering.
About You:- You're a fit for the role of Software Engineer, if you meet all or most of these criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of relevant experience in Implementation of data lake and data management of data technologies for large scale organizations.
- Python , AWS , API, SQL, Snowflake, Datawarehousing concept
- Experience in building & maintaining data pipelines with excellent run-time characteristics such as low-latency, fault-tolerance and high availability.
- Proficient in Python programming language.
- Experience in AWS services and management, including Serverless, Container, Queueing and Monitoring services like Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, RDS, Dynamo DB, Glue, S3, IAM, Step Functions, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS.
- Good knowledge in Consuming and building APIs
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including integrating AI or GenAI capabilities into data platforms for data ingestion, consumption and governance.
- Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted development tools or frameworks to improve developer productivity and solution efficiency (e.g., code generation, testing, or data analysis).
- Fluency in querying languages such as SQL
- Strong understanding of software development practices such as Git‑based version control, CI/CD automation, and release management leveraging GitHub Copilot and Terraform.
- Agile development cadence
- Good critical thinking, communication, documentation, troubleshooting and collaborative skills.
- Nice-to-have skills: Business Intelligence tools like Power BI , React.JS
