Due to an upcoming retirement of one our fantastic brand manager, we are now seeking to hire a brand manager to our Scandinavian TNT (Therapeutic Neurotoxins) team. In this position you can be situated in either our Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm offices.
Your role will be to lead the comprehension of patient experience insights across the disease area and the brand to focus the Brand Team on the delivery of patient-centric strategies within AbbVie business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for analyzing the market landscape and collect patient insights and use that as the fundament of the Brand plan. You also lead the brand planning process to build a strong localized Brand Strategy and build the tactical plan.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Navigate the Global Brand Strategies and optimize our brands and portfolios using a deep understanding of the market, competition, customers, and clinical value to build a compelling brand story and provide short- and long-term strategic direction.
- In a timely manner, Lead the Strategic Brand Planning process and collect all important insights from designated markets and cross-functional team members to secure a solid plan.
- Secure input and all stakeholder viewpoints to develop a robust and accurate Patient Journey and propose strategic objectives for the Brand Team based on Patient Journey findings to adjust local strategies and ensure patient-centricity as well as synthesize the insights gained to identify target segments, to optimize brand positioning.
- Delivering highly tailored, compelling experiences using real-time data, advanced analytics and AI to reflect customers’ unique preferences and behaviors.
- Based on the Strategic Brand Plan, Lead the development of the local 1-year Tactical Brand Plan involving all relevant internal functions and stakeholders. Develop local strategic and tactical plans incorporating ACE (advanced customer experience) and aligning with international strategies.
- Personalized Marketing Delivering highly tailored, compelling experiences using real-time data, advanced analytics and AI to reflect customers’ unique preferences and behaviors.
- Guide the design and implementation of all marketing activities including innovative marketing tactics, traditional and non-traditional partnerships, multi-channel opportunities and multi-stakeholder initiatives to meet strategic brand objectives. Ensure to use a mix of digital and traditional communication channels to maximize AbbVie´s Customer interaction opportunities. Use of AI utilization and data driven Storytelling.
- Drive monitoring of brand KPIs, track ROI measurements for all marketing activities to achieve or exceed brand plan objectives.
- As Brand lead, ensure to continuously update team members cross-functionally regarding strategy or marketing initiatives or updates, and ensure to share best practices.
- Bachelor's degree, biological sciences, pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent
- Relevant experience with proven track record of success in marketing within biotech/pharmaceutical industry (2-3 years is sufficient)
- Ability to set up a local brand strategy and translate strategies into actionable and realistic marketing actions
- Project management experience with the ability to lead, motivate and coordinate cross functional teams
- Working knowledge of healthcare environment and evolving landscape
- Knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles and techniques including digital knowledge
- Knowledge on finance principles and processes
- Highly creative
- Demonstrated ability to work with mature products in a competitive landscape
- Strong ability to work independently but equally as a team player.
- English language proficiency verbally and in writing
Preferred:
- Sales track record of success within biotech/pharmaceutical or any other industry
- Strong informal leadership skills
This is a Scandinavian position where can be located at either our Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm offices. We have a hybrid model of working at AbbVie, where you are required to be at the office 3 days a week.
