Introducing Visa’s Design and Creative Studio, an expanding in-house creative and design agency set up to support Visa’s, clients and partners in the Asia Pacific region, and to drive revenue growth for Visa. You will not only develop exciting creative strategies and campaigns for our clients and partners across the various markets in AP but also create high visibility creative for Visa’s core brand, sponsorships and experiential partnerships. You will be expected to meet creative service revenue targets as part of your responsibilities.

Why this is important to Visa
The Studio team, part of the Visa AP Market Support Centre, is responsible for delivering creative services to Visa, clients and driving a key marketing service workstream for revenue growth.
What a Manager, Brand Creative (Art or Copy) at Visa does:
Creative Leadership & Concept Development
- Inspire and work closely with the broader team to develop innovative and strategic creative solutions, from broad concept development through to production and implementation.
- Provide clear, constructive creative direction throughout the creative process to ensure ideas remain strong, aligned, and executable.
- Work hands‑on to ideate, craft, and execute original and iconic creative concepts in response to briefs, objectives, or goals.
- Develop creative ideas that meet both business objectives and client objectives, balancing creativity with commercial impact.
Client Engagement & Commercial Impact
- Drive client take‑up of creative services through high‑quality creative thinking and impactful selling.
- Communicate and present creative concepts to internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulating the creative rationale in the context of business objectives.
- Support AP Marketing Services revenue growth by effectively executing client briefs and delivering strong creative outcomes through the studio.
Hands‑On Execution & Delivery
- Partner with Campaign Managers, Project Managers, and local marketing teams to manage projects from concept through to completion, working with both in‑house resources and third‑party agencies or vendors.
- Contribute directly to the creation and management of creative assets across web, graphics, social and digital media, print, environmental, OOH, and BTL, across varying levels of project complexity.
- Bring creative ideas to life by conceptualising storyboards, and developing presentations as required.
- Prepare, organise, and manage creative permutations, ensuring all requirements, specifications, and details are met.
Collaboration & Ways of Working
- Collaborate effectively with the local marketing teams, broader AP Market Support Centre Marketing teams, and global creative studio to deliver world‑class creative work.
- Work resourcefully within a new and evolving team, adapting quickly to changing priorities and incomplete information.

Craft, Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with Generative AI utilisation in industry, creative trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve creative processes and output.
- Maintain a high standard of craft, clarity, and consistency across all creative work, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and creative standards.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a creative capacity in an advertising agency, preferably in an agency with a global network.
- Degree in Advertising, Design, Multimedia, Communications or any related field of study.
- Proven experience as an Sr Art Director, Sr Copywriter or ACD in an advertising agency or similar creative role.
- Deep understanding of different social, media channels and new technologies.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and its implementation through creatives.
- Excellent taste when it comes to creative execution and delivery.
- Capability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Proactive, organized and systematic with effective time management skills. Comfortable working in a fluid, fast-paced and hands-on environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and relationship-building skills.
- If Art-based: Expert knowledge in design programs across various media (print, motion, video, digital) including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere.
- If Copy based: Strong command of copy development across multiple media (digital, social, film/video, print, OOH), with working knowledge of creative tools used to craft and present ideas (e.g. Keynote/PowerPoint, Google Slides).
