Skills and Competencies
- Proven senior leadership experience with the ability to set strategic direction while ensuring strong operational execution across multiple geographies
- Deep understanding of data quality, coverage, enrichment, and governance concepts within large-scale data environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data issues into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
- Hands-on familiarity with modern data and analytics tools, including Excel, Power BI, SQL, Gen AI tools (e.g., Copilot), and PowerPoint
- Experience with Python, Databricks, and large-scale data platforms is highly advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and, when required, external clients
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, promote innovation, and foster a technology-enabled, data-driven culture
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for regional data quality, coverage, and enrichment, ensuring scalable, high-quality Company Data that aligns with Moody’s Analytics business priorities and customer needs.
- Own and execute the regional data quality, coverage, and enrichment strategy aligned to enterprise data objectives
- Set priorities and success metrics balancing operational delivery with scalability, automation, and efficiency
- Act as senior SME and escalation point for complex data, process, stakeholder, and client issues
- Lead and develop managers and teams across locations, building a strong and diverse leadership bench
- Hold end‑to‑end accountability for regional data quality and coverage outcomes, including remediation and enrichment
- Ensure data meets governance, lineage, audit, and documentation standards
- Drive consistency in data standards, methodologies, and ways of working across regions and datasets
- Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data Governance to deliver scalable, business‑driven data initiatives
- Sponsor and oversee remediation, transformation, automation, and AI‑enabled initiatives with measurable impact
- Represent the function in senior leadership forums, communicating progress, risks, and strategic recommendations

The team operates across multiple regions and disciplines, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Governance to ensure data capabilities scale with business growth.
