- Work as part of the UK & European Trustee & Fiduciary Account Management team responsible for leading a team of Fiduciary Account Managers including responsibility for performance reviews and providing direction with team members career development through training and coaching
- Maintain a continuous in-depth regulatory knowledge for self and the team, keeping abreast of all updates to UCITS/AIFMD and other such regulations affecting the funds industry
- Acting as a senior contact in the delivery of an excellent Depositary service to our clients on a daily basis
- Responsibility for the oversight of Fund Administrators, Managers and Transfer Agents in order to ensure that funds to which Citi are the appointed Depositary are managed in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Collaboratively working with our offshored service provider through weekly and monthly service calls, onsite review meetings
- Ensuring a consistent UK & European service and product offering is delivered and where required developed for existing and potential fund clients
- Lead & support the implementation of new business
- Provide board level reporting to clients
- Work with internal support teams and external parties to resolve any outstanding client issues
- Ensure agreed service levels commitments are monitored and tracked, and any issues identified are escalated to the relevant parties and followed through to resolution
- Engagement in projects and additional tasks as required by the Head of UK & Europe TFS Account Mgt.
- The position exists to protect interests of investors in funds and to ensure Citigroup's franchise and reputation is safeguarded with the appropriate regulatory bodies and client base, including the business’s fiduciary duties are appropriately discharged
- This role will report to the Head of UK & Europe Fiduciary Account Management
Qualifications / Experience:
- 10+ years of experience
- Fiduciary or other compliance or financial services related experience
- Extensive years of Fiduciary or other compliance or financial services related experience
- Good technical knowledge of financial instruments and investment strategies
- In-depth understanding of European fund regulations
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Relevant Funds industry qualifications
- Strong knowledge of all MS Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel PowerPoint)
- Integrity & strong ethics
- Strong management & team working ability
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both oral & written including confidence in dealing with clients and internal parties at all levels
