As we grow, we are expanding our platform with richer contextual signals that strengthen insight quality and open new possibilities for personalization and automation.
By advancing the depth and intelligence of commerce data, we help enable the next generation of agentic experiences at Expedia Group. These capabilities allow systems and teams to reason, act, and deliver more proactive and effective outcomes for travelers and partners.

Establish and enforce engineering excellence practices, including code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, incident response, and operational readiness for services owned by your teams
Build, grow, and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, creating a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning, while enabling engineers to be effective across multiple technical domains

Strong technical expertise in designing and building distributed systems, including system design (LLD), API design, data modeling, and working with modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud-native technologies
Demonstrated ability to set technical direction, break down complex problems, and drive execution through cross-functional collaboration with product, program, and operational partners
Preferred Qualifications:

Deep experience with observability, reliability, and operational practices (such as SLOs, incident management, root cause analysis, and capacity planning) for always-on services
Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, including safely integrating and operating AI/ML enabled solutions that improve customer or business outcomes within your domain, and leading teams to explore new applications of AI/ML to enhance developer experience and platform efficiency
