Job Description

Job Profile Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Product Analyst / Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support Platform Services (PaaS)—internally developed private‑cloud platform services and tools that integrate with vendor technologies to deliver a system‑level developer experience for building, testing, and deploying applications at scale.

This role partners closely with platform engineering teams to own execution, operational follow‑through, and outcome validation across complex, multi‑team initiatives. The role reflects the evolving TPM discipline, combining strong product judgment with hands‑on technical contribution in support of product execution and decision‑making, including data analysis, dashboarding, light coding, and responsible use of Generative AI.

The role directly supports DX and Platform OKRs related to platform reliability, migration delivery, reduction of repeat incidents, and improved developer throughput across build and deploy workflows.

Product Ownership & Execution Accountability:

  • Own end‑to‑end execution of initiatives across Platform Services (PaaS), from signal intake and problem framing through delivery, rollout, and operational closure.
  • Shape work intentionally by translating developer, platform, and operational signals into clear problem statements, success criteria, and prioritized execution plans.
  • Independently manage cross‑team dependencies, sequencing, and execution risk across internally developed platform services and integrated vendor tools.
  • Drive release readiness and post‑release validation, ensuring outcomes are predictable, explainable, and repeatable across the system‑level developer experience.

Platform & Operational Excellence:

  • Develop deep understanding of private‑cloud platform services, build and deployment workflows, and the tooling ecosystem that underpins the developer journey.
  • Own incident and release follow‑up, ensuring root causes are addressed and improvements are durable rather than one‑off.
  • Reduce rework and repeat incidents by ensuring platform changes are intentionally shaped, validated, and operationalized before and after release.
  • Partner with engineering to balance reliability, scalability, throughput, and developer experience in delivery decisions.
  • Ensure improvements land end‑to‑end across the developer journey, avoiding fragmented or tool‑specific optimizations.

Data, Analytics & Technical Contribution:

  • Perform hands‑on data analysis using SQL and related tools to extract insight from platform telemetry, workflow data, and operational signals.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and metrics to track platform health, adoption, delivery progress, and developer experience outcomes.
  • Apply light coding or scripting to automate analysis, reduce manual toil, or improve data quality.
  • Leverage Generative AI responsibly (e.g., accelerating analysis, synthesizing documentation, workflow exploration, and “vibe coding” for rapid prototyping) with appropriate validation and governance.
  • Ensure data and insights used for decision‑making are trustworthy, explainable, and actionable.

Product Signal, Enablement & Stakeholder Alignment:

  • Act as the primary execution liaison between platform engineering, partner teams, and stakeholders.
  • Turn noise (tickets, telemetry, incidents, feedback) into clear signal, priorities, and narratives that guide execution and trade‑off decisions.
  • Drive cross‑platform enablement, ensuring improvements are reusable, scalable, and reduce long‑term friction across platform services.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ensure user experience and design thinking are embedded even in highly technical platform services.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 2+ years with an Advanced Degree. Experience working with large‑scale, distributed systems or platform services. Demonstrated ability to operate independently with end‑to‑end ownership of execution and outcomes. Preferred Qualifications: Comfort applying Generative AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and prototyping while maintaining quality and governance. Experience with PaaS, private‑cloud platforms, CI/CD systems, or developer infrastructure. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with complex data models across RDBMS, Hadoop, or NoSQL systems. Hands‑on experience with dashboarding, analytics, or observability tooling. Working knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum and/or Kanban) and delivery tools (e.g., Jira). Ability to perform light coding or scripting, including exploratory or “vibe coding,” to support product discovery and execution. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across engineering and platform teams. Self‑directed, outcome‑oriented, and comfortable operating with limited day‑to‑day oversight.
