Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what is important to them and their clients. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Product Manager provides a wide range of support to the Product Manager/s and/ Sr Manager/s and/or Director, Product Management, and to the product line and investment strategies to which they are aligned.
Primary Responsibilities
- Gathers, combines, and presents market insights - both proactively and as assigned. Develop an understanding of the strategy’s use case, performance, competitive landscape and how we position ourselves in the market
- Support the product’s strategic plan by fulfilling the work, tasks, and projects as assigned by the Director, Product Management.
- Serves as the first point of contact to receive product-related inquiries; coordinates intake and routes among Parametric and non-Parametric stakeholders for resolution and escalation. May have decisional accountability within defined parameters
- Completes final review of all draft product marketing materials; ensures that information and data and overall presentation of product investment strategies is accurate, complete and up to date.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required in economics, business, finance, or a related field
- Three (3)+ years of related industry experience combined with a desire to pursue product management. This experience is inclusive of a baseline knowledge/understanding of one or more product lines or investment strategies overall; desire and capability to grow product/investment strategy knowledge and depth working toward expertise
- Prior project management training and/or CFA Level 1+ completion is a plus, but not required
- Strong communicator - both written and verbal; ability to clearly communicate information and concepts generally to internal audiences or to internal audiences for eventual external consumption
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and technology and office productivity skills commensurate with this level role
- Individual in this role may travel up to 10% of the time for team and/or client related in-person meetings

Salary range for the position: $70,000 - 140,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
