Financial Operations Support Analyst- Huntsville, AL

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work You'll Do

As a Project Delivery Senior Analyst on the project, you will:

• Support financial operations for sensitive programs.
• Support the execution of financial processes and internal controls tailored to the unique requirements of sensitive programs.
• Execute purchase requests, load obligations, or analyze payments within the ERP system as part of the daily business processes.
• Provide data analysis on execution metrics with defense goals and targets.
• Monitor financial data related to financial execution and defense budgetary data.
• Conduct data analysis and pull reports to provide financial solutions.
• Support other business users with process guidance and provide business process recommendations.
• Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and safeguard sensitive financial information.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility required
• 1+ years of experience in financial processes, regulations, and audit requirements in the defense space
• 1+ years of experience ERP functionality
• Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, AL up to 5 days per week

Preferred:

• Financial management or accounting experience.
• Experience with government financial regulations, audit standards, and internal controls.
• Experience with budget execution and procure-to-pay (purchase request, obligation, and payment) processes in the defense industry
