Work you'll do
As a VP, Solution Delivery, you will lead large-scale accounting and reporting service delivery for private funds and complex real asset structures, serving as a senior leader across client operations, team leadership, delivery quality, and strategic process improvement. This role oversees managers and delivery teams supporting private equity, hedge funds, fund of funds, REITs, and real assets including real estate, renewables, shipping, agriculture, aircraft, and timber.

Our Finance Operate offering provides ongoing operation of the Finance function as an extension of the Finance Transformation Advise and Implement offering portfolio.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $158,900 - $292,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
Work you'll do

You will be expected not only to ensure high-quality execution, but also to shape scalable operating models, strengthen executive-level client relationships, and drive continuous improvement across the broader solution delivery portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead multiple teams delivering accounting and reporting services for private funds and complex real asset structures, ensuring quality, timeliness, and scalability
- Serve as a senior client-facing leader, managing executive stakeholder relationships and resolving complex delivery, reporting, and operational issues
- Oversee end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual fund reporting activities, including NAV, reconciliations, fee calculations, financial statements, and audit support
- Provide senior oversight on technical accounting matters, including acquisitions/divestitures, joint ventures, REITs, waterfalls, equity method investments, and capital activity
- Lead onboarding and operationalization for new fund launches, acquisitions, and expanded scopes of service
- Establish and monitor delivery governance, including KPIs, SLAs, risk management, escalation processes, and reporting standards
- Drive process improvement, technology enablement, and automation initiatives in partnership with internal transformation and technology teams
- Coach and develop managers and teams, strengthen organizational capability, and identify opportunities to expand services and solve broader client needs
The team

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 12+ years of relevant experience in GAAP, statutory reporting, or fair value reporting within the alternative investments industry, including private equity, hedge funds, REITs, real estate funds, or complex real assets
- Significant experience leading large teams and/or managers, with demonstrated success building high-performing organizations and scaling delivery operations
- Proven experience leading complex client service delivery in fund accounting, fund reporting, or related finance operations environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage executive-level client and stakeholder relationships
- Experience overseeing multiple concurrent workstreams, service levels, delivery risks, and operational priorities
- Strong knowledge of private fund structures, fund financial reporting, NAV processes, and alternative investment accounting concepts
- Experience with platforms such as Yardi, ARC, Geneva, Investran, or similar fund/accounting technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
- Ability to travel up to 15%, based on client and business needs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Active CPA license
- Audit experience in the alternative investments industry
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership
- Demonstrated success leading delivery transformation, process optimization, and automation initiatives
- Experience designing and improving operating models, governance frameworks, and service delivery controls
- Strong commercial instincts, including the ability to identify client needs and shape solutions that drive broader business outcomes
- Ability to lead across multiple geographies, functions, and stakeholder groups
- Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver with mature judgment and a strong sense of ownership
- Strong people leadership capabilities, including coaching leaders, managing performance, and developing talent pipelines
- High ethical standards and a collaborative, team-oriented leadership style
