So there is EQ and IQ, but have you ever heard of CQ? CQ stands for cultural intelligence and the ability to navigate different cultures — at work, at home, and within society.

In this event talk, DEIB expert Sharon Gai will dive deeper into what she calls the "culture fluid" mindset. Being culture fluid is about being comfortable with the uncomfortable. This mindset enables us to traverse between cultures easily by being more empathetic to those from another culture. This skill has become more and more needed in an increasingly globalized world.

During this chat, Sharon will talk about:

  • How to be the bridge in a team with different cultures
  • Cultural intelligence and its importance in the workplace
  • How to take advantage of diverse cultures in teams
