Do you have any advice for those of us with a tech background who wish to pivot into software engineering management? I am not a software engineer in spite of having technical experience and this seems to turn a lot of companies off - who think that their leaders need to be doing everything, instead of having and UNDERSTANDING of everything while focusing on MANAGING the team - it is so frustrating - but if there is anything I can do to get around this more easily - I am all ears.
