How do you deal with out of touch managers from outside departments who impose responsibilities on your department in a demeaning way? They often wait until the very end of the meeting to make statements such as: "This is why X department doesn't always get what they want in the time they think they should" - - "Well, that sounds like a X department issue that should've been solved a long time ago" - - How do you move them from an ambiguous answer to a concrete definition without invoking a patronizing response from them?
