The United States has laws against age discrimination. However, we know it exists. Job applications often require graduation dates. It's easy to calculate approximately how old a person is from those dates. My question is how can we within the first few lines of a resume/cover letter or the first 30 seconds of an interview, how to convince the hiring manager an older adult is worthy of consideration?
