Ajah L. Amos
Bridget FinkeldeyAjah L. Amos is the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Virginia (UHCCPVA) and serves as co-lead for the United Health Group African American Employee Resource Group. She joined UHCCPVA in August of 2017 continuing her tenure in Managed Care Network Management. In her current role, Ajah is responsible for ensuring UHCCPVA’s nearly 200k Medicaid and DSNP members have adequate access to quality network providers and building strong partnerships with those providers. Ajah is also responsible for regulatory compliance across all network teams and vendors.
Prior to this role, Ajah led Provider Relations, Outreach, Contracting, and Pricing and Configuration teams for Humana, Magellan Behavioral Health, Aetna, and Anthem BCBS over the past two decades servicing several thousand providers and members across Virginia and the eastern United States. This included new network builds, new product implementations, system migrations, direct member servicing and community partnerships.
Ajah is active in the community serving as a mentor for Tea Bags of Love, a Sunday School teacher for her local church and is a 20+ year member of the Virginia Air National Guard where she has served as a Munitions Specialist, Paralegal and currently serves as a Commissioned Officer and Equal Opportunity Director. In her current role Ajah champions equity, diversity and inclusion for her local market health plan. Ajah has her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Mass Communications and Masters of Business Administration.
Married to her “Match Made in Heaven” Anthony (Tony), they share four beautiful children which make up their blended family (Roza-37, Shalonda 27, Savon-24, and Kendall-9). Ajah, Tony and Kendall currently reside in Glen Allen, VA.
Rita P. Mitchell
Sanmaya MohantyIn a career spanning four decades, Rita P. Mitchell has a proven track record of achievement and success in the highly competitive financial services industry. Rita has 15 years of progressive leadership experience and retired in 2018 as Executive Vice President & Manager of Private Client Services for Middle TN at First Tennessee Bank (First Horizon currently $80 billion in assets). Rita managed Private Banking, Medical Private Banking and the Family Office Services for Middle TN.
Prior experiences include entrepreneurship where from 1986 to 1997 Rita was President of Mitchell Financial, Inc. an insurance and securities brokerage firm. Rita was awarded the U. S. Department of Commerce Regional Minority Service Firm of the Year (8 state region), Dr. R. H. Boyd- Woman Business Owner of the Year, and U.S. Small Business Administration Woman-Advocate of the Year and she also served on the Agriculture and Labor Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Rita is a founding board member of Purpose Preparatory Academy, a charter school in the African American community in Nashville and past Board Chair of the Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation. In 2018, Rita joined Studio Bank’s Advisory Board, where she has worked on growth strategies for women, The Women’s Collective, and minorities, specifically related to the African American community as Studio Bank continues to gain market share in the Nashville Community. In Rita’s role as board member for the YWCA USA National Board, Rita serves on the Investment Committee, the CEO Search Committee, and will serve as Co-Chair of Development in the upcoming fiscal year.
In 2018, Rita launched her career as an author with her debut book, Own Your Phenomenal Self, a guide on empowering young career women to achieve their desired success and an Amazon bestseller. In 2021, Rita published her 2nd book, Spoken Art, a memoir of art and poetry in collaboration with her daughter, Brittany Mitchell.
Most recently, Rita is building financial service and insurance agencies across the U.S. with World Financial Group which is wholly owned by Transamerica (a subsidiary of Aegon).
Rita is seeking to serve on a corporate board and is actively seeking roles that will provide opportunities for her to contribute to a board, its committees and the broader company’s success. Rita splits her time between Nashville, TN and New York City, providing her convenient access to both domestic and international travel.

Arushi GroverPatricia serves as the President & CEO for the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), leading strategy, fundraising & development, leadership programs, and expanding impact on a national scale. As an advocate for access and equity, Patricia strives to create a multi-generational, diverse, and inclusive support network to catapult the career growth Latinos across the country. Patricia leads with a diverse industry background, from co-founding a nonprofit, leading in community affairs for local government, marketing for corporate utilities company, to administration in higher education, to circling back to nonprofit at HACE as a Director in 2010, Sr. Director 2012, then CEO in 2015. Patricia has a strong history of serving the community, as reflected by her service on various nonprofit boards and committees, and several accolades, most recently appointed as a commissioner on the Illinois Hispanic Employment Plan Council and named Crain's Business Chicago Top 25 Most Powerful Latinos. Patricia earned a double Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University Bloomington in Spanish and Communication & Culture and a Master's in Public Affairs (MPA) in Public Management from Indiana University's School of Public & Environmental Affairs (SPEA)-Indianapolis. Patricia is also a certified leadership coach, Insights Discovery© licensed practitioner, and a proud Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow.
