Our Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead projects within FP&A. You will make a big impact, partner directly with business owners across all of our products and platform teams, and take your career to the next level. While reporting into our Head of FP&A Partners, this is a fully remote role, with a PST/MST timezone preference.

We are looking for a dynamic finance leader to help shape the vision of one of the fastest-growing companies in the market. With a passion to understand the bigger picture, you also enjoy diving into intricate analyses, while also stepping back to develop a perspective on the business and create outcomes. You look to solve challenging problems and are motivated to implement ways to do things better.
In this role, you'll get to:- Deep technical know-how in building financial models, balancing complexity with simplicity
- Engage with Product and Platform teams to create unit metrics on the cost to serve and product costing to aid in product profitability analysis
- Provide data-driven insights that help build efficient capital allocation across the company and strategic decision-making
- Oversee the communications strategy on projects which includes executive-level and detailed project briefs and status updates
- Use visualization and mapping tools such as Tableau, Excel (can perform complex functions) and other data analytics tools to conduct analysis and insight
- Qualitative:
- Evaluate the possible effects of different business approaches.
- Have a record of motivating change while still being collaborative and inclusive in nature
- Explain complex financial information to leaders
- Quantitative:
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in finance
- Proficiency with financial modeling and spreadsheets
- Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience
- Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau, Anaplan etc)
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics)
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $162,500 - $216,600
Zone B: $146,200 - $194,900
Zone C: $134,800- $179,800
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
