To help our teams work together effectively, this fully remote role requires you to be located in the Australia or NewZealand.

We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of backend engineers. You'll be part of the Atlassian Cloud Storage Engineering (ACSE) Team, that spans Australia and the US, reporting to one of our Senior Engineering Leads based in Sydney, Australia. You will directly help scale Atlassian by helping us evolve our industry-leading storage organisation that offers an expert self-service, extensible data storage platform with built in operational excellence, cost efficiency and ease of recovery. Our platform is at the heart of Atlassian's services and accelerates our developers by provisioning and operating relational and non-relational data stores. The services you will develop and operate are required to be of high quality while still being able to move fast and keep up with your customers' needs and scale.
