Your future team

Our Confluence Reliability At Scale team has a mission to support the reliability of the Confluence product to scale. You will report to the Head of the Confluence Cloud Reliability team and you will sit inside the Confluence Enterprise Platform organization. The Reliability at scale team helps our Confluence product be reliable as we scale the number of users per tenant.

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be a hands on technical leader and people manager working across the ~10+ member development team building and ensuring that Confluence is reliable for tenants at scale.

You will manage a group of software engineers at varying job levels, from new college grads and senior software engineers to architects. You will be responsible for their daily work and mentoring them as they grow in their careers.

At Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.
