Your future team:
We are Jira Platform team focusing primarily on Jira Navigation. Atlassian is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team to improve the navigation of our Jira Products and deliver great experiences to our users.
We are responsible for one of the most used components in Jira and we have some exciting projects to improve the navigation of the product.
What you'll do- You'll be part of the an independent platform team, which has the full ownership of its domain.
- You will lead through your experience and collaborate with your similarly passionate developers, product managers and designers to bring high-quality experiences to our customers.
- 8+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications using Javascript, HTML, CSS, and experience with modern Javascript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
- Understanding of modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing and releasing.
- Experience debugging problems across systems/repositories and designing solutions that span the whole stack.
- System mindset that considers edge cases, observability, error handling, and integration across external systems.
- Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity
- Experience mentoring more junior Engineers
- TypeScript experience.
- Bash / Shell script experience.
- Nodejs experience.
- Knowledge of open-source libraries and frameworks (for example, logging, wiring, testing, and building tools)
