Working at Atlassian

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Jira Work Management is one of the fastest-growing new products at Atlassian. The team has a big vision of capturing the collaborative work management space that is necessary for unleashing the potential of Jira to everyone – outside of just Software and IT teams. We are looking for a motivated product designer to join our growing team to help revolutionise how business teams work in Jira.

As a Product Designer in Jira Work Management, you will work with a, cross-functional team of makers who are eager for innovation and are not afraid to iterate quickly based on learnings. Ultimately, you will be responsible for creating familiar and intuitive user experiences for business teams around the world.
What we are looking for
  • 4 years + professional UX / product design experience, with at least some familiarity of Jira products.
  • An eye for detail, with a customer-centric lens.
  • Ability to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback.
  • Comfortable conducting and summarizing insights from qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Strong Figma proficiency and experience with interface design
  • Experience collaborating successfully with designers, developers, product managers, and other team members.
  • Opportunity to grow to form a strong team of designers. Our team moves fast, and there’s always something to learn!
  • Last but not least, a healthy amount of disregard of the status quo :)
Nice to have:
  • Experience in startups or scaleups
  • Experience with Lean UX and rapid customer delivery
  • An interest in team-building
  • A healthy tolerance for ambiguity.
