As a senior member of the Global Branding & Communications team, you will be responsible for leading the firm’s editorial content strategy and overseeing the development, production and distribution of world-class content across the organization. In this capacity, you will play an integral role in creating content that helps drive our Branding & Communications programs and initiatives, which include investment content, executive and digital communications, branding, internal and external messaging and narrative.
Principal Responsibilities
- Devise firm-wide editorial content strategy in partnership with the global Branding & Communications leadership team
- Create and manage data-driven written content and editorial strategies in collaboration with investment and core infrastructure stakeholders across the firm to drive strategic business priorities
- Provide strategic direction for the creation, production and distribution of impactful content across mediums, including videos, podcasts, infographics, articles and other creative assets, to ensure consistent messaging and optimization for key audiences across multiple channels
- Monitor and leverage web, social and intranet analytics to inform future content creation and delivery strategies
- Build an internal network to source and “bring to life” the most interesting narratives and stories from across the firm, enabling the development of differentiated world-class content
- Oversee internal and external content production and drafting across all platforms
- Drive technical writing projects rooted in firm messaging, investor communications and investment themes
- Serve as editor for firm-wide written content and publications
Desired Characteristics
- Familiarity with managing editorial calendars for a variety of platforms
- Proficiency in translating corporate research reports to other content channels/platforms
- Accomplished storyteller across formats, including videos, podcasts, articles and newsletters
- Experience in managing writers and video producers
- Familiarity with design process and tools for content publication, as well as digital marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Social media savvy and thorough understanding of current and emerging digital platforms
Qualifications/Skills Required
- Exceptional academic credentials
- 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in investment management
- Background in academia, journalism, investment management, banking, investor relations or other relevant field a plus
- Advanced technical investment expertise and first-class writing skills
- Strong execution and interpersonal skills with the ability to operate successfully at a strategic level
- Deep understanding of thought leadership on industry trends, market events and the competitive landscape
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex ideas and effectively translate them for key audiences across a range of channels
- Ability to process and present complex data in an engaging manner
- Excellent attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy, quality and integrity
- Highly analytical with strong problem solving skills and the ability to balance multiple deadlines

Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
