• Collaborate with team members (Product Managers, Architects, Analysts, Software Engineers, Project Managers, etc.) to develop and implement data-driven business solutions.
• Lead the development process from start to finish, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that meet requirements, align with the architectural vision, and adhere to all applicable standards.
• Engage in defining and clarifying requirements with the Business to ensure understanding and meet their needs.
• Create architecture and design documentation.
• Facilitate design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems.
• Work with other engineering teams to establish a unified approach to continuous integration including build automation, test automation, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with senior technical staff and Project Managers to identify, document, plan for, and manage risks and issues until resolution.
• Communicate technical solutions, capabilities, and features in business terms. Provide clear and timely updates on status, issues, and risks.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: • 13+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or with an Advanced Degree. Preferred Qualifications: • Proven knowledge of successful design, architecture, and development of data pipelines • Experience in creating data driven business solutions and solving data problems using a wide variety of technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MongoDB, NoSQL, as well as traditional data technologies (RDBMS) like MySQL or Oracle DB a plus. • Experience developing large scale, enterprise class distributed system or subsystems that require high availability, low latency & strong data consistency computing. • Ability to program in one or more scripting languages such as Python and one or more programming languages such as Java or Scala • Design and development skills with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto and Map Reduce • Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated Test tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Selenium, Chef desirable • Experience in Graph processing technologies and graph databases such as GraphX and Neo4j is a plus.
