Job Description The HR apprentice will be part of the FBL (France, Belgium, and Luxembourg) cluster People Team. He/she will report to the FBL Head of People and work closely with the entire People team, especially the People Advisor. The HR apprentice is a generalist role and will be working on a variety of topics mainly related to HR operations. Although based in France, he/she will be part of the larger European People Team, and work with colleagues from across Europe who sits in the different COEs (i.e. Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, etc.).   Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Support the local on-boarding of new joiners.
  • Manage the meal vouchers benefit.
  • Support all aspects in relation with occupational medicine.
  • Manage absences and leaves.
  • Support the preparation of the variable elements that are communicated to payroll monthly.
  • Manage the off-boarding process especially with regards to end of contract documents for leavers.
  • Prepare a variety of documents (i.e. Employee Verification Letters, contract amendments, etc.).
  • Prepare the quarterly mandatory government surveys.
  • Support the preparation of regular internal HR communication (Monthly Huddles, HR Calls, HR e-mails, etc.).
  • Clean and reorganize the way we archive HR documents both paper-based and digital.
  • Support on specific HR projects (i.e. Inclusion & Diversity, WorkDay data audits, process improvement, etc.).
  • Support the preparation of information to be provided to the Works Council (CSE)
  • Manage low complex queries received from employees and managers.
  Qualifications
  • Preparing for a Master’s Degree (level 1 or 2), ideally in HR
  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Employment Legislation
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Available to start working part time in September
  • Soft skills:
    • Curious and proactive
    • Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task, prioritise and work with attention to detail
    • Feel comfortable in speaking and communicating with different kind of stakeholders
    • Discretion combined with poise and professionalism in all communications
    • Must be able to exercise good judgement regarding information which may be confidential
    • Customer service-oriented, and ability to work collaboratively with others
