This role is part of the Earned Value Excellence (EVE) team which directly supports all IPP&C Scheduling Analysts and programs across the Mission Systems business. We are searching for an individual contributor to join the Mission Systems Finance IPP&C EVE team. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a strong team, specializing in Earned Value Management. We are looking for someone with effective communication, analytical, problem solving and collaborative skills that enjoys working within a rapidly changing/improving environment. In this role, you would be part of a team of analysts providing support and training to other financial analysts and program teams on program planning and execution using Earned Value Management and associated tools. This role will be performed HYBRID from our Collins Aerospace location in Cedar Rapids, IA. Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all required corporate, department, and government policies/regulations
- Review and update Mission Systems Earned Value System Description
- Ensure compliance to Mission Systems EVMS System Description
- Lead implementation of new EV tools
- Create and update Process Maps and Work Instructions for IPP&C
- Participate in Government and Industry groups to review, comment and author industry documents
- Participate in IPP&C self-surveillance reviews
- Provide internal and external audit support
- Create, coordinate, and deliver training content to the IPP&C organization and program teams
- Assist in onboarding new IPP&C employees within Mission Systems
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Earned Value Cost Engines/Software (SAP, Cobra, EVMS forProject, etc) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of Schedule Risk Assessments
- Program controls and EVMS background
- Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts
- Ability to travel
- Ability to obtain security clearance
