About this role

Using your lived-experience with a child receiving mental or behavioral health services, you will provide education, parenting skill training, and support to the clients legal guardian/caregiver. You will work with a caseload, individually, or as part of a team, using your knowledge of the educational system, DDD, and other community partners, to provide peer support and facilitate groups. This position may provide transportation to clients and work in-office, in-home and/or in community-based sites. You will be provided supportive supervision to aid in your professional growth and development.

What were looking for:

• Must have or have had a child receive community mental/behavioral health services; AND

One (1) of the following:

• High School diploma or GED with behavioral health education AND work experience totaling a combined minimum of 5 years
• Bachelors Degree in Social Services, Education or a related field
• Non-related Bachelors degree and 1 year or more experience in the mental health field

• Current fingerprint clearance (and maintain during employment) and be able to pass the background check. Proof of: CPR/FA and a valid Arizona drivers license as well as proof of education are required. The fingerprint clearance and drivers license must be without restrictions.

Preferred but not required:

• Prior behavioral health experience
• Bilingual-Spanish/English
