As a Precision Inspector you will be responsible for the inspection of aircraft cargo system parts via CMM or with handheld metrology tools.  In addition to inspection of product you’ll perform the following:   Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform First Article Inspections for new product
• Buyoff product or document nonconformance's within SAP.
• Assist nonconformance investigations and problem solving/RCCA
• Internal auditing
• Assist Quality Engineering in problem solving, statistical analysis, calibration, etc. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of GD&T or blueprint reading
• Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Machinist background and/or metrology experience (manual setup, CMM, FARO arm, etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with auditing (Nadcap, ISO, AS9100, etc.)
• QMS knowledge (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)
