Job Description


In this position, you will lead the segmental business development within Greater China. You will work as the bridge between the customer (brand-owners, OEM/ODM, converter, distributor, etc.) and internal team (R&D, PM, production, quality, sales etc) to speed up the new market scoping, customer needs clarification, opportunity pipeline building, product spec-in / design-in. Improve customer experience and shorten troubleshooting cycles.


  • Own the overall top-line and bottom-line performance of the assigned segment.
  • Develop and execute overall segmental business strategy and execution plan, with a focus on end-user / brand-owner spec-in & engagement.
  • Grow the business by developing new sub-segments or new applications and customers in existing sub-segments.
  • Investigate and summarize market dynamics/trends, customer unmet needs, as well as the information of value chain, competitor landscape, and customer decision making process.
  • Build the business opportunity pipeline and drive innovation activities to ensure sustainable business growth.
  • Close cooperation with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, ADE, PM and other supporting teams to lead the design and commercialization of new customer solutions with clearly defined value proposition.
  • Work with other business divisions and global teams for cross-regional and global customer / end-user business development.



  • Master's degree with 5+ years experience or Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience related to segment marketing and/or business development, specifically in the Electronics market, with brand-owners, ODM/OEMs.
  • Experience in material solution or PSA application will be a plus.
  • Familiar with end-user / brand-owner and customer qualification processes, certification and industrial standards (understanding of Electronics industrial value chain and qualification process will be a plus).
  • Proven success in leading New Product Development activities and commercialization at customers / end-users / brand-owners.
  • Basic knowledge of product management and hands-on experience in product management will be a plus.
  • Good cross-functional / regional communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
