What you’ll do at Jamf:
At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. In this role you’ll evangelize Jamf by developing meaningful relationships with key stakeholders at accounts, bridge the gap to executives, and elevate Jamf mindshare to a strategic position within a specific territory. Your efforts will lead directly to the sales of our Whole Product Experience (WPE), development of pipeline growth, and territory sales. The Manager, Sales is a key member of the Japan management team, responsible for leading a team of Field Sales, Inside Sales and Sales Development. This position is critical to growing sales pipeline and revenue for the sales organization.


What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Responsible for achieving sales quotas in the Japan market, by leading and managing all sales activities from generating leads to closing the deals
  • Manage daily and weekly sales activities, pipelines, accurate forecasts and close the deals to ensure above-quota results based on logical pipeline management
  • Plan and execute sales strategy from generating leads to closing the deals.
  • Assist sales reps in closing transactions through the development of C-level relationships with key prospects
  • Responsible for managing inbound pipelines from Apple, Marketing and Channels to grow into a valid opportunity
  • Collaborate with internal co-workers and external partners to drive enablement and revenue growth
  • Provide on-going coaching and counseling to direct reports on sales activities, skills and competencies
  • Provide clear vision, strategies, support and expectations to ensure employees can learn, grow and expand their skills, perspectives and experiences to help grow Jamf
  • Attract, hire, coach, on-board and retain a pool of diverse and high performing sales professionals
  • As a Jamf employee you will be expected to travel up to 20% to attend events specific to your role include international travel.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree preferred; a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing or leading, motivating and developing successful sales team in software industry (required)
  • 5+ years of sales experience in IT industry (required)
  • Sales experience to educational institutions(preferred) 
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast sales result
  • Strong ability to work independently as a self-starter, while is also a team player
  • Strong self-improvement mindedness
  • High degree of transparency and integrity
  • Ability to control emotions in a high pressure fast paced sales environment
  • Native proficiency in Japanese, along with fluent English reading comprehension skills. Additionally, strong English verbal communication skills would be a definite asset.
