Job Description

The SML Specialist prepares business related analyses and research for Supply Chain, and/or Logistics.  Prepares forecasts, analyzes trends related to Planning, Logistics, or Scheduling, and uses the analyses to compile and prepare reports, of data and/or ensure efficiency.  

Role Expectation:¨

  • Execute supply plans  to stock material Mexico , Colombia & CaCar, be the contact point for many large purchases made from outside of the company for projects
  • Follow up to No stock orders Mexico , Colombia & CaCar, 
  • Monitoring, control and establish communication plans with the areas involved
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Supply Chain area
  • Manage Supply Chain KPI dashboard
  • Standardize and document procedures 
  • Manage area improvements projects
  • ISO Documentation and audits

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years SML or related experience.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented. 
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
  • Ability to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion. 
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and employees. 
  • Solves straightforward problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

Technical Skills

  • Good english level
  • ELS or continuous improvement Knowledge
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Power BI, Tableau, Google analytics  ( One of them)
  • Mapping tools or softwares- Visio, SmartDraw, Diagrams.Net ( One of them)

Soft Skills

  • Good communication skills (oral and writing)
  • Proactive & very good attitude
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional groups  at all levels of the organization
  • Results oriented 
  • Project Management Skills
  • Develop quality design presentation skills
