We are looking for enthusiastic force.com and Mule developers to join our Business Technology Applications team and own application development for a complex portfolio of initiatives. This role works directly with Application Architects, Lead Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Partners globally. This position is MTS (Member of Technical Staff) more aligned with the company's internal strategic initiatives and programs. Being part of a team with Hybrid engineers, this individual is expected to help us ensure every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java or force.com development
• 3+ years of experience in MuleSoft development
• Strong experience in SOA, REST, and web services
• Experience in Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, API Management, and CloudHub
• Good understanding of SOA and integration patterns
• Hands-on experience in Salesforce, Snowflake, and Amazon S3 bucket
• Great analytics expertise to troubleshoot issues and the ability to access and read logs on Splunk with queries

Preferred Requirements/Experience:

• Knowledge about existing APIs for reuse possibilities
• Consulting with Architects and other leaders on API Implementations.
• Working with Architects to design solutions to Business problems using existing and new API functionality.
• Understanding Limitations and Opportunities of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and the existing implementations.
• Design APIs in alignment with best practices and design standards
• Data mapping between different systems and data formats
• Development of APIs Complex Data Weave transformations, routing, expressions, and error handling.
• Appritiatation for DevOps , Jenkins and CI/CD
• Git branching, merging, committing, and pull requests
• HTTPS, SQL, MQ, Certificates, SSL, XML, JSON.

API Implementations:

• Knowledge about existing APIs for reuse possibilities
• Consulting with Architects and other leaders on API Implementations.
• Working with Architects to design solutions to Business problems using existing and new API functionality.
• Understanding Limitations and Opportunities of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and the existing implementations.

Creating API Designs:

• Updating existing RAML keeping in mind best practices and reuse across the enterprise
• Negotiating API changes with Stakeholders
• Designing Data Mapping between different systems and data formats

Development of APIs code using Git technologies:

• Creating code and Pull Requests
• Reviewing other developers’ code for best practices.
• Complex Data Weave transformations, routing, expressions and error handling.
• Understanding Requirement and implemeting designs that use those requirements. Pushing back against requirements that go against current design practices.
• Applying Best Practices to Implementations and assuring adherence to API standards.

Experience with Integration Adjacent Technologies and Devops:

• Jenkins and CI/CD
• Git branching, merging, committing, and pull requests
• HTTPS, SQL, MQ, Certificates, SSL, XML, JSON.
