This position would be an opportunity to provide technical/business support in the Engineering Department. The analyst will establish and maintain integrity for engineering drawings throughout the entire life cycle. They will ensure the Bill of Materials, where-used info, and other change attributes are accurate prior to engineering release. They will also be responsible for the transfer and management of engineering change packages to different customers. The target candidate will have a background/degree in business, administration, or related fields. While this position supports the engineering group in Jamestown, it is not an engineering position. Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain data items within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Review of design documents for data accuracy within a process workflow.
- Train, mentor, and/or troubleshoot change process workflows within the PLM system.
- Create As Design Base Lines
- Manage the transfer of engineering change packages to the customer.
- Assist in the development, compliance and maintenance of configuration management company standards and processes. Create/update where necessary to improve effectiveness for the organization.
- Develop and maintain configuration management/change management metrics.
- Support internal and external audits regarding Configuration Management processes.
- Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools; Word, Excel, Outlook, Access.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter or other PLM systems
- Able to work under pressure of customer deadlines.
