- Support production areas and deliver project work packages, ensuring adherence to technical quality standards across product, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing areas, setting and upholding high standards while leading by example.
- Lead projects aimed at achieving SRR (Schedule, Resource, Risk) goals, enhancing producibility, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Lead the development and integration of new tools and fixtures, including specifications, supplier selection, design reviews, production trials, and implementation.
- Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as 8D Analysis or RedX to contribute to Root Cause Corrective Actions (RRCA) and resolve day-to-day issues.
- Identify and implement process improvement and productivity enhancement opportunities.
- Manage the creation and updating of part routings, Bills of Material (BOM), standard operating procedures, TPMs, PFMEAs, PPAP documents, and engineering change processes.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) manufacturing activities as required.
- Review drawings, specifications, and support team in utilizing CORE Tools and Lean activities.
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety requirements, conduct risk assessments, and support accident investigations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Production Engineer.
- Strong communication, teamwork, self-motivation, and autonomy.
- Experience in project management using a structured approach.
- Aerospace manufacturing/assembly and test experience preferred.
- Understanding of manufacturing concepts/processes and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001).
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, 8D, Green Belt Six Sigma, RedX) and ERP/MES systems (preferably SAP and Solumina).
- Experience in 3D modeling, drawing creation, GD&T, PPAP process, NPI, CAPEX management, document authoring, and tooling/fixture development.
- Resilience, strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and decision-making prowess.
- Willingness to travel to suppliers when necessary and ability to work autonomously with high standards of performance and integrity.
