We constantly push the boundaries of what is possible. We create new and innovative ways of designing and operating our global datacenter networks and do it at scale with efficiency.Simple, elegant, and scalable network design, automation, and data analytics are the keys to meeting our demands. In this role, you will be part of a team that is responsible for conceiving design solutions, developing, testing and deploying network software, systems, and tools that keep the Data Center network operating at maximum reliability, scalability, and efficiency.Engineers in this role are hybrid software and network engineers who are able to leverage their network engineering skills to research and design new generation of network architectures and related systems and use their software development skills to reliably introduce them at scale in production.

Network Production Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Research, architect, develop and deploy scalable datacenter network architectures and related tooling.
  • Work closely with our hardware, software and sourcing teams, and external vendors to develop new optical solutions and influence the future of networking and its associated infrastructure.
  • Partner with our software teams to develop the tooling required to provision, manage, monitor and troubleshoot our networks.
  • Develop automated network monitoring systems to mitigate and remediate network events.
  • Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues.
  • Test new network products including both HW and SW and pilot them in production DC networks before a mass rollout.
  • Develop test automation frameworks integrated in CI/CD pipeline to qualify network software before push in production.
  • Develop tests that qualify complex network migration procedures in lab/emulation before executing the same in production.
  • Participate in DC network on-call rotation.
