B/E Aerospace, Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace has an opening for a Manager, Software Development. This is a hybrid position that allows working remotely from home up to 2-3 days per week as permitted by business needs. Occasional domestic and international travel to other Collins Aerospace sites for DSI application implementation will be required 1-2 times per year.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leverage a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process to deliver high-quality software products and services.
  • Leverage the latest software development frameworks, including Agile methodologies, and Continuous-Integration / Continuous-Deployment (CI/CD) models to plan, architect, design, build, test, document, deploy and maintain software products and services, including being responsible for designing the server architecture of DSI System integrated with E1, JDE World And SAP ECC6.0 ERPs.
  • Perform Hands-on development of all parts of the technology-stack including user interface (UI), front-end (client-side) & back-end (server-side), database integration, web service & API development, performance tuning and security design for mobile (native & responsive), web and embedded-systems.
  • Work with Product Managers to respond to customer requirements, define sprints, backlogs and manage the development process.
  • Support the understanding of programming technologies available to provide the most efficient means to implement the needed functionality.
  • Establish enterprise-wide standards for application development and integration.
  • Plan for future platform requirements to support business and customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 8 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP across various modules including Sales and Distribution, Inventory and Finance. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Software Developer working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP across various modules including Sales and Distribution, Inventory and Finance would be acceptable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One Development tools (i.e Form Design Aid, Report Design Aid, NER and C Business function, BI Publisher)
  • At least 4 years of experience developing complex DSI programs that integrate with JDE World, EnterpriseOne and SAP (IM/WM module) for standardizing inventory processes in warehouse, including maintenance of DSI infrastructure including upgrades to DSI MEP 9
  • At least 3 years of software development experience using DSI DClink and MEP platform with integration to JD Edwards Enterprise One, JD Edwards World, and SAP
  • At least 2 years of experience developing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne published and consumer Business services using JDeveloper
  • At least 2 years of experience developing customized scripts to automate repetitive tasks in MobiControl (SOTI) MDM to manage wireless handhelds
  • At least 2 years of experience in JD Edwards Enterprise One CNC activities, including Package build and deployment, server maintenance and managing security.

The salary range for this position is $136,344.00 to $196,000.00 per year. This is the correct compensation range. Please disregard any additional verbiage noted below pertaining to the salary range.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
