Job Description

The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the user experience of the Microsoft 365 suite of collaboration products at Visa (including but not limited to SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive). They will also assist with the effort to increase adoption and satisfaction of our offerings to our global offices and ensure our productivity tools are meeting the needs of our business and colleagues. The Business Analyst will work with the Sr. Technical Program Manager and stakeholders to ensure success of product feature delivery and adoption. We are looking for an individual with a passion for making a difference.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Support the vision of improving the experience for our 29,000 member Microsoft 365, Viva, and Generative AI Community in Visa 
  • Assist with the delivery of the Microsoft 365 product roadmap in consultation with Sr. Technical Program Manager
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business analysis processes, standards, and best practices. 
  • Document business requirements and acceptance criteria 
  • Assist with product change management activities working with the Sr. Technical Program Manager and Change Manager 
  • Identify users, create and maintain user stories, and develop functional requirements for new or revised features or enhancements 
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite of applications and their capabilities 
  • Develop or contribute to development of job aids and training courses 
  • Gather, analyze and, when appropriate, contribute or start to design the reengineering of business processes 
  • Assist in defining work effectiveness, experience and efficiency metrics and goals 
  • Contribute with communications to project sponsors, stakeholders and management  
  • Help with regular updates and reports on the status and dependencies of the initiative work 

Technical Management 

  • Contribute to the identification of process, technical or training issues and suggest solutions that can be implemented 
  • Community involvement in Viva Engage, acting as a community manager for Microsoft 365  
  • Assist and contribute with content for workshops, focus groups, qualitative pulse surveys, and other methods to elicit feedback and validate solutions with end users 
  • Undertake assignments on projects or special initiatives as appropriate under guidance of Sr. Technical Program Manager
  • Make presentations and train staff as needed through one-on-one mentoring, small group trainings, corporate training programs, and information dissemination as needed 
  • Communicate and liaise with other departments, units and individuals on joint activities 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required 

The standard working hours for this role currently are from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, local Manila time. When the work necessitates it, you may be required to work outside of the prescribed work hours.  Visa reserves the right to adjust the  standard working hours in future based on the business requirements

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Understanding of business processes and systems.
  • Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.

Preferred Qualification and Skills:

 

  • Prior IT experience in planning and implementing enterprise level systems 
  • Experience in requirement analysis and business process re-engineering
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 suite of tools, including but not limited to SharePoint Online, Groups, Teams, Outlook and OneDrive required
  • History of focusing on the user experience and business outcomes required.
  • Working knowledge of Change Management preferred.
  • Prior experience in agile methodologies (experience in product management) preferred
  • Experience with data analysis using Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables, or other similar tools
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to influence cross functional team members for projects and special initiatives.
  • Demonstrated integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others
