Title: Skilled Fitter - MRO

Labour grade: 7

Position summary:

The operator must possess the necessary enthusiasm, drive, and desire to succeed and discipline to achieve significant results for the organisation.

• To ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
• Must be an excellent team player and confident communicator.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• The operator will report directly to the MRO Manager.
   

Responsibilities:

• To perform clean, test, repair, overhaul & inspection on MRO components
• Maintain on time finishes to achieve customer TAT
• Control work in progress
• Work in accordance with the Collins Aerospace Core Values
• Own 5s, TPM and participate in QCPC activities
• Work in accordance with the Quality Cardinal Rules
• Support FOD control program
• Support all EH&S activities and initiatives
• Achieve CORE Apprentice (Training given)

Minimum Requirements:

• Apprentice trained, City & Guilds or equivalent / time served experience.
• Communication skills
• Organization abilities
