Accounting Analyst - Accounting Services
Responsibilities
- Responsible for completing and reviewing all month-end activities, such as:
- Accruals and prepayments
- Detailed expense allocations
- Bank Reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Intercompany settlements and reconciliation
- Manage Fixed Assets subledger (capitalization and depreciation/amortization entries)
- Prepare month-to-date expense projections on a weekly basis
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual account variance analysis on standalone and consolidated entity level
- Prepare monthly and annual Fund Administrator, Audit, and Tax support packages
- Interact with various groups within and outside of Finance for expense and budget related requests and/or queries
- Assist with various ad-hoc accounting projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with strong academic record (ideally a minimum of 3.5 GPA)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of corporate accounting experience
- CPA preferred or in process of obtaining license, but not required
- Strong problem solving, analytical, written, verbal communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and client services skills
- Strong technical proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and web applications
- Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Solid analytical skills and judgment – strong attention to detail
- Strong team player and also work efficiently independently
- Oracle Cloud and Tableau experience is a plus but not required
The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
