Position Summary Job Summary: Responsible for developing functional specifications, seeking opportunities for improvements to business processes and working along with the Business Applications team for providing business applications support to end-users.  Responsible for business reporting needs and working with the business users to develop strong working relationships across multiple business units.  Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Providing first level user support
  • Resolve incidents and problems within defined service levels
  • Analysis of business requirements and design of relevant solutions
  • Create technical reports as required to support business needs
  • Prioritise requests relative to strategic goals
  • Create documentation for functional requirements, maintenance, UAT’s, communication and issue resolution
  • Provide technical / hands on guidance in related areas
  • Provide training support, both in person and online, on an as-needed basis.
  • Create and develop customizations for business applications according to documented requirements
  • Assist with identifying future business system needs for planning and budgeting purposes
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors for software support
  • Proactively seek enhancement opportunities and improvements
  • Participation in ad-hoc projects
  • Other duties as directed by management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst and first level support.
  • Understanding of integrated systems and business processes.
  • Experience in supporting business critical applications.
  • Thorough working knowledge of various software applications including:
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word),
    • Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other ERP
    • Microsoft SQL server and SSRS reports
  • Understanding of Microsoft CRM web application and database architecture
  • Able to work unsupervised and effectively in a team
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff
  • Detail and process oriented, able to prioritize and diagnose issues
Experience, Education and Qualification:
  • Tertiary Qualified or 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and MS CRM or equivalent ERP, CRM and BI/reporting systems
  • Experience with writing SSRS Reports and sound understanding of Microsoft SQL including SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
