Date Posted:2024-03-21 Country:United States of America Location:HCA09: Mission Sys (Propulsion) 3530 Branscombe Road , Fairfield, CA, 94533 USA Position Role Type:Onsite Collins Aerospace is looking for a Logistics Technician in Materials Planning and SIOP to join our team in Fairfield, CA! You will work under direct supervision and oversee tasks in Materials Planning and Inventory Management. You will implement standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and any additional tasks that business needs require. Primary Responsibilities:
- Transacts Inventory movements and kits Work Orders for delivery to production cells onsite.
- Safely transport dangerous goods materials within site.
- Manage part materials inventory. Cycle counting.
- Conduct inventory movements within SAP when requested by Program Management and/or Planning Dept.
- Use Inventory Management software effectively. SAP
- Maintain and organize warehouse and the inventory areas; 5S.
- Safely operate forklift if required.
- Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled.
- Process outgoing part kits efficiently and accurately.
- Processes internal customer returns back to inventory.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- High degree of initiative, personal responsibility and ability to plan and be well organized
- Ability to establish effective working relationships Good verbal and written communication skills
- All other duties as required.
- Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

- Microsoft software applications
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving
- Material handler experience
- Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application
- Have prior experience in functional area of interest
