Employees are required to work any flex shift schedule between the hours of 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Start Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Earliest Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, & Latest Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM). It may be necessary, given the department need, to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays. Our office is located at 109 Rykowski Lane, Middletown, NY. We offer 3 weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM from Monday - Friday. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
- Respond to complex customer calls
- Resolve customer service inquiries which could include:
- Benefit and Eligibility information
- Billing and Payment issues
- Customer material requests
- Physician assignments
- Authorization for treatment
- Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- 1+ years of customer service experience with analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment, using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
- Basic proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to work 100% on - site at 109 Rykowski Lane, Middletown, NY
- Availability to work any flex shift schedule between the hours of 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Start Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Earliest Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, & Latest Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM) including the flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays based on department need
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
- Ability to multi - task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
- Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
- Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
- Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity
