You will be responsible for Safety setup, operate and monitor CNC, NC, manual and other related equipment to accomplish the required operations as defined by the work instruction, routing and or print. You will also be responsible for approve setup, move material, and ensure that machines are in a clean, safe, and orderly manner. You will be responsible for maintaining work areas and machine in a clean, safe, and orderly manner and perform in process and inspection checks as defined by the routing. Onsite: This position will work onsite at our Troy, OH Landing Systems Headquarters. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. 3rd Shift Monday – Friday 11:00p.m.- 7:00a.m. Primary Responsibilities:
- Obtain job assignments from supervisor or job assignment book regarding quantity of pieces, and any special instructions; read standard operating procedures and operating sheets; read engineering process sheets and Manufacturing Specifications, G-Code, and conversational code.
- Pre-set tooling as required supporting the assigned job.
- Setup equipment utilizing routings, blueprint, and work instruction to ensure that parts meet specifications. Machine components on assigned machines and inspect to ensure compliance to blueprint specifications.
- Work with management to improve machining processes and document changes. Order gages to support production.
- Clean and maintain work area and supporting equipment including but not limited too machine tools, work benches, floors, inspection equipment and hand tools. Oil machines as needed utilizing appropriate tools.
- Check and maintain operating levels of fluid and required machine materials such as, but not limited to, coolant, filters, and oil.
- Move material between workstations, cells, and warehouse to ensure flow of work is maintained. Complete approval ticket and consult with inspection for first piece approval and record data as required.
- Retrieve items from tool crib and complete forms/transactions as required. Attend training classes, cell meetings, and perform other operations assigned by management.
- Wearing of all personal protective equipment as required.
- In addition to the items subsumed in the job duties above, it should be noted that this position. Requires substantial reaching and moving while standing; lifting to 50 pounds; twisting; stooping; and response to sounds associated to the work environment.

- Adherence to all EH&S roles and responsibilities as stated in manufacturing work instructions and EHS policies and procedures is required.
- Typically requires a high school diploma.

- 1+ years’ experience CNC experience.
- Capable of performing mathematical calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division and pass pre-employment qualification tests.
- Experience utilizing oral and written comprehension and understanding of technical documents including but not limited to routings, blueprints, Engineering process specifications and written work instructions.
- Near vision in one or both eyes corrected to 20/25 or better, checked once every two years. Color vision test normal one time only.
- Previous aerospace experience
- Experience recording and interpreting SPC (Statical Process Control) data and take necessary corrective action.
