Sign On Bonus: $3,000

Under direct supervision, performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes.  Prepares the production floor for daily production. Monitors daily production and adjust production based on inventory. Review production set-ups for accuracy and quality requirements. Train/maintain training of team members in the process. Monitor Team Member for improvements. Assist in quality investigations. Report issues/problems to immediate supervisor. Perform inventories as needed. Ensure document control is being completed properly. Communicate with other departments. Other duties as assigned   Ensure work is accomplished with high quality, in a timely fashion and is compliant with all company, city, state and federal regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, masking, and sanding.
  • Apply paint to surface of the part using spray gun.
  • Able to adjust paint gun to maximize transfer efficiency and teach others.
  • Able to clean and maintain spray equipment.
  • Ensures manometers, filters, ovens and all equipment meet specification requirements.
  • Understands spray patterns, angles and distance to part.
  • Understands racking and hanging techniques.
  • Learn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
  • Accurately completes required documentation.
  • Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
  • Meet customer deadlines.
  • Store, handle, use and dispose of hazardous chemicals in accordance with federal, state laws.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Responsible to comply with applicable elements of quality systems.
  • Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required.
  • Participate in audits.
  • Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
  • Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
  • Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.
  • Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • Typically, a High school diploma or GED. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be able to stand for 8+ hours.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required."

  • Must be available for overtime, including extended workdays and weekends.
  • Ability to comply with EH&S policies and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate PPE.
