Position Overview: Freddie Mac’s Finance Division is seeking a Financial Controller Professional to be part of the Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) CFO department.  The I&CM CFO department is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, portfolio risk and profitability analysis, pricing and valuation activities, and financial planning & analysis for Freddie Mac’s Capital Markets activities.  The hired individual will join the I&CM Financial Reporting & Analytics team and contribute to internal and external reporting financial analysis and presentations. Our Impact: Our team is responsible for providing financial results, analytics, and business insights to support financial disclosures and business decision making. Your Impact:

• Create monthly and quarterly analytical presentations for various stakeholders, including senior management, the Board of Directors, and our regulatory
• Provide timely and accurate financial information for use in both internal and external reporting
• Learn and understand business concepts and market drivers central to explaining our financial results
• Partner with colleagues in Finance and the Capital Markets Business Division to gather financial results, business metrics, and related explanations that support our analytics and reporting to management
• Build and maintain reporting in our Financial Forecasting system that is consistent with our actual reporting
• Continue to enhance analytics and reporting
• Assist in ad-hoc request or analytics

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of financial reporting and analytics work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree
• Knowledge of GAAP financial accounting and reporting concepts
• Strong financial aptitude and robust analytical skills
• Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Hyperion, Peoplesoft, Tableau, or Python Knowledge (preferred)

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $75,000 - $113,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
