The manager also monitors project performance and ensures that these systems comply with customer and company requirements. This is a supervisory position over a talented group of EVMS analysts, schedulers, and project managers. We are looking for an effective leader to guide the team in developing, integrating, analyzing, documenting, and presenting earned value metrics for the duration of our programs. Support and oversee the team generating integrated master schedules independently from proposals, Statement of Work, and Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRLS). YOU will have the opportunity to mentor and transform this team of 7 as it moves from project management to earned value. - Understanding Earned Value Management Systems, project planning and scheduling, risk management, and program management.
- Implement and govern adequate project controls, ensuring compliance with planning and control processes.
- Monitor and report performance against plans, collaborating closely with cost analysts to reconcile cost and schedule.
- Develop and maintain work breakdown structures and project schedules for program capability deliveries.
- Guide project and control account managers in planning, analyzing, and assessing project cost and schedule performance.
- Ensure the integrity of data included in performance reports and estimates at completion.
- Tracks plans and schedules, solicits regular updates, and identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances
- Strong understanding of earned value management practices and procedures, which includes scheduling fundamentals and system tool usage, such as SAP and Microsoft products. Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Management Toolsets (OPP, Cobra, MS Office, Power BI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality, to integrate major projects and achieve program objectives.
- Experience with integrated schedules and logic networks using Microsoft Project software or can learn this tool. Background with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Able to communicate and work effectively with external customers and vendors as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to facilitate a decision-making process.
- Ability to create and generate standard reports and metrics and interpret them across functional boundaries.
- Demonstrates an intermediate-level understanding of assumptions in Estimates at completion and how they affect sales and earnings.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

- Experience developing metrics that assist senior leadership in decision making on resources and AOP
- Experience in Earned Value Management Toolsets (OPP, Cobra, MS Office, Power BI)
- Degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or business
- Aerospace experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
