JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer (Job Code: DK0517)
JOB DETAILS:
Responsible for the software that our customers interact with everyday. Create experiences that allow users to configure their systems and control the content that they listen to. Work on our iOS apps on multidisciplinary, agile teams. Create technical designs for and implement features in the Sonos iOS apps. Collaborate with software engineers, PM, QA and UX to design and deliver unique, innovative new features that delight our customers. participate in the team process, using agile methodologies to adapt and continuously improve. Mentor teammates in best practices for developing software. May work from home.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience in the offered position or related position.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time". Required expertise/knowledge includes:
- Experience programming in Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience developing concurrent applications using Swift Concurrency.
- Experience working on an App that is available in the Apple App Store.
- Experience with common source code control systems, including git.
- Experience with Mobile User Interfaces, including SwiftUI.
- Experience managing third party dependencies using Swift’s package manager and Carthage.
- Knowledge and experience using MVVM architecture.
OTHER: Salary range: $134,000 per year to $179,000 per year
