Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Material Review Board (MRB) Quality Analyst 2/3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Palmdale, CA . Telecommuting/remote is not an option for this position. This position requires the ability to work a 4/10 schedule, 2nd shift. The successful candidate will develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications. Basic Qualifications: Level 2:
- High School plus 7 years of exempt level experience; 3 Years of experience with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters.
- Minimum 3 years of nonconformance records experience
- Knowledge of the Preliminary Review Authority is required.
- Must be able to work 2nd shift.
- Must have Active Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
- Ability to make decisions that impact the organization's credibility, operations, and services.
- Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints.
- Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs and sit for up to 5-10 hours at a time.
- 6 Years of experience with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters
