THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced PMP Deal Manager with a deep understanding of programmatic advertising, specifically with SSPs (Supply-Side Platforms) and DSPs (Demand-Side Platforms). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing Private Marketplace (PMP) deals, fostering strong relationships with publishers and demand partners, and achieving exceptional results in optimizing campaign performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and negotiate Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals with premium publishers to secure high-quality inventory for clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to understand clients' advertising objectives and develop effective PMP programmatic advertising proposals.
  • Manage end-to-end PMP deal lifecycles, from deal setup and negotiation to monitoring delivery, troubleshooting and performance analysis.
  • Develop, enhance and grow Private Marketplace (PMP) deal library in DSP
  • Develop and maintain PMP Rate cards and pricing strategies
  • Work closely with the Ad Operations team to ensure successful execution and delivery of PMP campaigns.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize PMP deals to maximize ROI and achieve campaign KPIs.
  • Analyze data and insights to provide clients with performance reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, programmatic technologies, and best practices to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SSPs, DSPs, and other industry partners to stay informed about new inventory and platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to provide feedback and insights for the enhancement of the company's programmatic advertising tools and solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Programmatic experience working with Demand Side Platforms, Supply Side Platforms, exchanges, or other related technology
  • Proven experience as a PMP Deal Manager or in a similar role within the programmatic advertising industry.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing Private Marketplace (PMP) deals with publishers and supply partners.
  • Deep expertise and understanding in OpenRTB
  • Experience and understanding of programmatic digital advertising: display, CTV, audio and video advertising buying strongly preferred
  • Experience with ads.txt, app-ads.txt, sellers.json, and supply chain transparency protocols
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and performance metrics to optimize campaign performance.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Experience collaborating across Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering Marketing, and Operations Teams
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • PMP or programmatic advertising certifications are a plus.

COMPENSATION RANGE 

The compensation range for this role is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 depending on location and experience.
